Attendance

Coming to school EVERY day really does make a difference!

Our whole school target this year is 93.5%.  Help us achieve this and more as your child’s education is vitally important. Attendance habits established when they are very young can affect our children for life.

Going to school every day means:

  • Having lots of fun

  • Making friends

  • Taking part in exciting activities

  • Time to play

  • Building lasting relationships

  • Helping to have the best possible start in life

Regular school attendance helps learners fulfil their potential and gives them a chance of a better future.

Attending school every day and arriving on time from nursery onwards will help give your child the best possible start in life.

As parents/carers, we all want the best for our children. Helping them to attend school regularly is an important part of this.  However, parents also have a legal responsibility to make sure their children receive full-time education.

If you are concerned about your child’s attendance please contact the Headteacher. By working together we can provide your child with the best possible start in life.
